The NBPC New Media Institute (NMI) is a professional development training program for emerging and seasoned filmmakers who want to create innovative projects, explore multi platform distribution, and attract new audiences using the latest in digital technology.

The NMI is a 6-week virtual workshop series followed by a week-long onsite residency held in Jackson, Mississippi from November 11th to November 17th. The training will focus on the creation of original new media content about the rich culture and history of the Delta region and the impact of Blues music in America.

We seek 25 seasoned and emerging producers interested in boosting their skills to compete in the new media environment. Applications will be posted on nbpc.tv at the end of July. If you would like an Application emailed to you please send your email address to nmi@nbpc.tv (re: NMI application). And, be sure to check our website for updates.

*If you are a student interested in new media training, please contact Christian Ugbode at Christian@nbpc.tv.
